ACCA Diploma in IFRS
DipIFR is an internationally recognized certification course. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are the Global Accounting Standards mandated in more than 100 countries worldwide. All listed companies in the European Union (EU) have to prepare consolidated company accounts that comply with IFRS. It also affects associates and subsidiaries of EU-listed companies.
Other countries such as Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa have already adopted IFRS or equivalents as their local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). And many other countries around the world, including India, are moving towards applying IFRS, which is having a significant impact on financial reporting, Saudi Arabia has already adopted. The course is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards. You will also learn how to apply them, as well as the concepts and principles.

Who should attend
Financial Controllers, Portfolio Managers, Finance Managers, Chief Accountants who are involved in preparation and analysis of financial statements.
Eligibility
•Professional Financial Qualification (ICAI, ICAP, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW)
•3 years’ relevant accounting experience (a letter from the employer will be required), if no professional qualification
•Relevant degree and 2 years’ experience in the accounting field
•An ACCA certificate in International Financial Reporting and 2 year's relevant work experience
About the Exam
•Exam is conducted by ACCA London
•Exams Centers in the UAE: Dubai & Abu Dhabi
•Exam Duration: 3 hours written exam (Plus 15 minutes reading and planning time)
•Questions: 4 compulsory questions of Total 100 marks (1 Question of 40 marks+ 3 Question of 20 marks each)
•2 Sessions-Section A for 40 marks and Session B for 60 marks
•Total 100 marks, pass mark is 50%
•Exam Fess: 185 £
•Exams are held: Twice a year in June & Dec.
•Result Declaration date(Tentative): 15-20th July and 15th-20thJan
•Next Exam date: 7th Dec 2018-Registration must be completed by 21st Oct 2018
•On an average, it may take 8-12 months to complete the course

•The course will be covered in 50 hours plus 10 hours of revision-the schedule may be worked out based on the convenience of the candidates.
